Nurse Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys by providing nursing support services on complex legal files. Will review Medical records to assess appropriateness of treatment. Review and organize Medical records. Analyze medical records to evaluate care and status of the claimant. Retain and coordinate with medical experts. Draft medical summaries. Draft letters summarizing expert opinions and may perform additional duties as assigned. Nursing degree and prior litigation experience is essential. Should be nurse with practical experience working in one of the following medical settings: hospital or nursing home or House Physician; Hospitalist; Physician s Assistant. Should have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and other business related software systems and excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient reading and writing English including professional phone etiquette.
