Associate Attorney Duties: Responsible for intellectual property licensing transactions for software and biotech companies. Work on licensing and other commercial transactions handled by the technology transactions group. Work on Intellectual Property Due Diligence in connection with Mergers and Acquisitions. Counsel, draft, and negotiate technology transactions. Conduct detailed due diligence investigations regarding IP ownership and related issues in connections with internal IP audits, offerings, mergers and acquisitions and strategic transactions. Provides comprehensive legal services to technology and life sciences clients of national and international prominence. Requirements: JD Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Law, Jurisprudence or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Intellectual Property Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, Licensing Experience, Graduate from top 20 law school in the top third of graduating class; California Bar Admission.
