Paralegal Duties: File, organize, scan, copy, and fax legal documents. Assist with answering multi-line phone system, transcription, and follow-up. Schedule court depositions, hearings, client, and attorney meetings. Review legal publications and perform database searches to identify laws and court decisions relevant to pending cases. Proofread legal documents ensuring accuracy of content, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and consistency of information and formatting. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, Associate s degree, or legal certification. 2+ years verifiable employment in a law office or judicial system. Familiarity with legal calendaring, documents, and terminology. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
