Legal Secretary - Litigation The candidate will assist in trial preparation, including creating binders and pretrial documents. Will prepare, format, and edit legal documents such as pleadings, discovery and correspondence (including TOA/TOC). Support and manage document productions. Multi-task and complete assignments quickly and accurately to meet demanding deadlines. Manage documents in firm software (iManage). Manage attorney calendars in electronic system. Understand every stage of case management, from inception to trial / settlement to post-trial / post-settlement. Must have 5+ years of litigation experience. Should have thorough knowledge of rules and procedures of court for both Federal Courts and California Superior Courts. Proficiency with court filings with both State and Federal courts (manual and electronic filing) is required. Should have proficiency with Office 365 - Word, Adobe and Outlook. Experience with document management system is preferred. iManage and ProLaw experience a plus.
