Family-Based Immigration Attorney The ideal candidate would have 1 year of experience practicing immigration law, specifically with family-based petitions, complex adjustments of status, waivers of inadmissibility, U Nonimmigrant Visas, VAWA applications, and other family-based petitions for relief. Must also: Be a member, in good standing, of the Bar of any state; Be committed to immigrants' rights and social justice; have excellent research and writing skills; have very strong academic credentials; have an open mind, lots of empathy, and a willingness to work with clients with varied personal histories, socioeconomic backgrounds, and cultural identities. Spanish, Urdu, Hindi or Punjabi fluency strongly preferred.
