Associate Attorney The candidate will be joining Creditor's Rights law team. Will review correspondence and files to determine if suit appropriate, review answers and prepares discovery and dispositive motions, manage all aspects of preparing for and conducting of trials, attend court hearings throughout the state of Texas, provide analysis and advises on legal and regulatory risks, represent clients in pre-suit and post-judgment matters, write, review and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, articles and other documents, make reasonable efforts to resolve contested files in litigation, perform Post Judgment Investigations to aid in the enforcement of Judgments. Must have a JD degree in law; bar admission in Texas is a must. Should have a background in civil litigation and experience attending court proceedings. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws with experience in collection law and/or significant courtroom experience is required. Knowledge in Bankruptcy Law, Foreclosure Law and/or the FDCPA/FCRA/TCPA is a plus. Managing shifting priorities in a fast paced, results driven environment is required.
