Personal Injury Attorney Responsibilities: Medical case review. Negotiating and settling cases in the pre-litigation stage. Review policies, claims and other records. Prepare, write and argue legal documents, including but not limited to: memos, theory of liability and demands. Communicate with insurance companies and make sure client medical treatment is managed and billed accordingly. Communicate with client to provide case status update. Conduct intake meetings with new clients. Manage docket of cases according to office policy. Conduct and attend IMEs, EUOs and recorded statements. Requirements: Education and experience Must be a current Florida Bar Member in good standing. 2+ years of experience in plaintiff s personal injury. A comprehensive understanding of personal injury law. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage a demanding caseload. Effective leadership skills. Thrive in a fast- paced environment. Spanish is a must.
