Part-time Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal The candidate will prepare and file the complaints, pleadings, and discovery. Will maintain attorney calendar, scheduling, and diary management. Assist with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation. Conduct claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments. Draft pleadings, motions, and file them with the court. Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc). Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes. Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices. Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests. Draft complaints. Liaison between trial teams and internal/external third parties. Help with jury instructions and witnesses preparation. Provide assistance with case settlements. The candidate should preferably have Paralegal Associate's degree or other relevant certification. Must have 2+ years of litigation experience. Must have excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills. Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc essential. Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail needed. Microsoft Office Proficient essential.
