Bankruptcy Paralegal The candidate will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs in the bankruptcy practice. Responsibilities: Preparing chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies for attorney review. Answering phones, greeting clients, and processing payments from the front desk in Eastgate location. Communication with bankruptcy clients regarding the preparation and continuation of their case. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Record and store client information. Mandatory: Best Case experience. Should have previous experience as a paralegal (consumer bankruptcy; experience with chapter 13 bankruptcy is a plus). Experience researching real property records through the recorder's or auditor's website is required.
