Regulatory Compliance Staff Attorney The candidate will assist growing consumer law compliance team. Preferred experience includes work with any state and federal regulatory and licensing schemes applicable to consumer-facing businesses. Previous focus on consumer law matters such as the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) or state mortgage/consumer lending and retail installment sales act laws is preferred. Must have superior writing and analytical ability, attention to detail and good communication and organizational skills, with 1 year of legal experience. Must be licensed to practice law in the U.S. and be in good standing, with a preference for the Virginia State Bar. Deadline : November 26, 2018.
