Litigation Paralegal Candidate will assist the law firms trial team, and specifically the attorneys in the wage and hour department, the personal injury/medical malpractice department, and the workers compensation department. Should have 5+ years as a litigation paralegal or equivalent experience. Experience with civil litigation is required, and employment, personal injury, or medical malpractice litigation is a plus. Must have experience in database management, filing court documents, reviewing court orders, reviewing and proof-reading litigation documents, responding to discovery, managing litigation calendars, and creating case billing summaries. Must have the ability to work in a high volume environment. Will be organized, self-driven, exhibit an ability to multi-task. Will have a strong understanding of the stages of litigation and will know how to evaluate and prioritize their work. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
