Senior Paralegal The candidate will complete assigned tasks as delegated and assist in case management for all litigation cases, including maintenance of filing deadlines and hearing dates for all litigation matters. Filing of all State and Federal pleadings (Ability to take opposition, motion, declarations, any other filings to the finish line. Including-drafting tables, adding references to declarations). Preparation, review and drafting of all pleadings for State and Federal matters. General investigation and research for all cases as needed. Draft, respond to, and propound discovery. Has a thorough understanding of the litigation process, including a knowledge of deadlines, court/filing procedures. Works directly with clients to obtain case information and acts as an intermediary between clients and attorneys. Draft initial drafts of motions (Federal & State). Able to review local rules and apply the same. Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles. Organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems. Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. Draft Subpoenas (Federal & State). Should have 3-5 years of paralegal experience in a civil litigation firm and collection cases (including post-judgment). Must have paralegal certificate.
