General Liability Attorney The candidate will manage a litigation caseload from inception to completion either independently or under the supervision of other attorneys. Conduct excellent legal research and provide thoughtfully written analyses of legal questions. Draft motions and briefs with minimal supervision. Work closely with other attorneys to provide recommendations for resolving legal issues. Communicate with clients and provide detailed reports on case status. Handle depositions and court appearances. Should have a JD from an accredited law school. Must be admitted to practice in Louisiana. Must have 3+ years of experience with insurance defense litigation. Maritime law experience is a plus. Must have experience drafting discovery and motions. Must have experience handling court appearances, depositions and trial experience is a plus. Excellent research and writing skills are essential. Superior written and oral communication skills are needed.
