Paralegal The candidate will responsible for legal research, draft pleadings, memos, and correspondence, trial preparation. Will comply with and propound discovery, mediation preparation. Will correspond with medical providers, clients, and other law firms, litigation case management. Will heavy Scheduling of depositions and hearings. Will coordination with court reporting companies. Will assist attorney to move cases forward in business unit. Will assist in preparing responses to initial discovery and preparing discovery to send to defense counsel. Will assist attorney in all phases of litigation through the trial of the case.
The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Should have experience in handling personal injury protection (PIP) claims. Should have excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, decision making, and relationship building. Should have ability to be a team player and work in a fast pace atmosphere. Must have knowledge of Client Profiles a plus.
