Litigation Paralegal Duties: Manage and lead all supportive aspects for a busy litigation practice, including federal and state court filings, case files, discovery, depositions and trial preparation for litigation cases. Assisting attorneys with preparing legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, motions, subpoenas, and discovery-related materials. Managing case files and matter documents through e-Rooms and docketing systems. Ensuring filings are in compliance with court rules and filing and e-filing documents therein, specifically in Maryland state and federal courts. Assisting attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests, depositions, and issuing subpoenas. Assisting with document review and analysis through various platforms, e.g., Relativity, Concordance, etc. Preparing for and attending depositions and trials.
Qualifications: 5+ years of litigation experience. Experience preparing for and attending depositions and trials. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, particularly with case files/document management.
