Paralegal - Health Care Law Group The candidate will draft discovery requests and discovery responses. Will communicate with clients concerning discovery responses and document production. Draft pleadings including subpoenas and notices for depositions. Review and redaction of documents produced in discovery. Schedule depositions and gather materials to assist in deposition preparation. Review of documents received in discovery. Compiling materials to assist attorneys for depositions. Assist attorneys during preparation for mediation and trial, including development of exhibits. Assist attorneys during trial. Proficient in MS Office. Willing to reprioritize as deadlines change. Knowledge of Sanctions are needed. Knowledge of Eclipse iPro are needed. Knowledge of health law are needed. Knowledge of HIPAA and other Medical Regulation are needed. Well-developed communication skills are needed. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Database management are needed. Drafting experience is strongly preferred. Investigate the facts of cases and ensure that all relevant information is considered. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Case Management, Power Point, Research Skills, Litigation, Client Relationships, Organization, Planning, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Dependability is needed.
