Attorney Responsibilities: Review and analyze newly contested mortgage foreclosure actions. Construct and execute focused litigation plans aimed at quickly resolving disputes. Advise clients as to implications of threatened and pending litigation, advisable courses of action and likely range of possible outcomes. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and briefs; represent client at hearings, depositions, mediations and trials. Prioritize and work at a fast pace on a high volume of files, with a great attention to detail. Requirements: An independent, self-directed, organized and diligent Maryland Bar Admission, active and in good standing, Virginia a plus. 2+ years of Foreclosure experience with lenders and mortgage services in Maryland. Federal court experience a plus. Proven Litigation skills, a plus. Previous experience with electronic case management systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as, Outlook, Word and Excel.
