Legal Secretary/Office Manager Duties: General Secretary Duties. Basic Bookkeeping & Accounting. Client Communication. Legal Research & Drafting. Administrative Assistance. Responsible for the following tasks: answering incoming calls, greeting visitors and handling a variety of administrative projects; maintaining positive and efficient contact with clients and retaining confidentiality of client matters; assisting attorneys with word processing and internet research tasks; maintain the appearance of the reception area, kitchen, conference room and office generally; maintaining all client and general files (electronic and paper) in an orderly fashion; inputting attorney billing into software so that bills can be sent out; communicating tactfully and effectively in both oral and written form; working independently in the absence of supervision; and performing other duties as assigned potentially legal research and writing. Requirements: Proficient with Microsoft Office & Excel. Preferred: Legal Experience. General Business Experience or Employment for Management. Quickbooks.
