Patent Paralegal The candidate should have previous work experience in Patents and an in depth understanding of USPTO practices and procedures. Should also possess exceptional organizational skills, a working knowledge of general office procedure and filing techniquies, along with a strong attention to detail and the ability to concentate on competing assigned tasks. Responsible for maintaining and managing heavy patent prosecution docket, including responsibility for ensuring deadlines are met, original correspondence is drafted, and tasks are handled. Must have ability to ensure all deadlines are met timely. Should have ability to Communicate with clients and foreign associates regarding prosecution deadlines and related matters. Must be knowledgeable in preparation and filing of US and international applications. Solid understanding of US patent prosecution life cycles is required. Special projects including assignment, intake, and due diligence projects as assigned is required. Proof and report Letters Patent documents. 5-10 years of experience in Patent Prosecution is required. Experience in Foriegn Patent Prosecution strongly preferred. A Bachelor's Degree and/or a certified paralegal certificate is required.
