Legal Case Manager/Paralegal The candidate will work for a small personal injury law firm. Will assist the attorneys in all aspects of case management. Maintain continuous and direct client contact. Order, track, and interpret pertinent medical records and bills. Maintain and track all relevant case information. Analyze personal injury cases for retention. Handle the initial stages of litigation as needed. Have a working knowledge of a multi-line phone system. Answer incoming telephone calls and direct call traffic to the proper person as needed. Take accurate and complete messages for employees who may be unavailable. Assist with multifaceted office duties as needed. The candidate should have a High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required. 1-2 years paralegal experience- personal injury setting preferred, but not required. Paralegal certification preferred, but not required. Work authorization in the United States required. Must have excellent multitasking & interpersonal skills, be proficient in MS Office and Excel with the ability to learn to use the legal software, be able to work diligently with little supervision, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
