Legal Secretary - Regulatory Affairs Duties: Provide support to a combination of several timekeepers which may include partners, associates and paralegals. Provide support to other secretaries and attorneys as needed; monitor calendar, email, and database management for Senior Partner(s). Prepare, edit and electronically file pleadings, etc. Communicate and work with clients. Perform document production, including creating, revising and editing documents and finalizing format and style in compliance with appropriate requirements. Prepare documents for mailing, scanning, faxing; manage files and client contact databases. Assist with reviewing daily docket and coordinating with attorneys and paralegals on upcoming dates and deadlines for filings. Assist timekeepers with Elite Webview time entries for tracking of attorneys and paralegals billable hours. May be requested to perform other duties. Qualifications: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. 1-3 years of legal secretary experience. Typing of 50+ wpm with a high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of litigation and trial procedures, including ECF and Odyssey (federal and state) electronic court filing programs. Strong proofreading and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. Strong customer service focus and skills. Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks at one time, and perform well in stressful situations. Good judgment in solving problems and resolving conflict. Excellent attendance. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
