Litigation Paralegal The candidate will review new cases within 24 hours, establish contact and maintain a working relationship with clients via telephone/e-mail/in-person meetings. Will ensure clients are receiving the proper medical care for their injuries. Follow cases closely to ensure are in receipt of all pertinent documentation at the appropriate time for demand preparation. Timely communicate with insurance adjusters via demand packages and negotiation follow-up with attorney. Keep track/complete relevant checklist items. Develop case strategies with case managers and attorneys. Create, maintain, transfer, and dispose of client files. Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and demands. Track service on defendants, reissue service until it is perfected, mark service complete date in Needles on the case screen. Responsible for keeping track of statutes for designated case managers. Must possess and demonstrate an understanding of acceptable professional etiquette. Should have strong computer skills with all Microsoft Office Suite products. Must be able to work independently on multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Previous Paralegal experience are required. Knowledge of Needles software is a plus.
