Title : Associate Litigation Attorney

Associate Litigation Attorney The candidate will independently manage a docket of foreclosure defense cases, tax resolution cases, and family law cases. Will assist the Managing Attorney with litigation in other areas of the law including civil litigation, criminal law, and commercial litigation. Manage a docket of between 30 to 50 cases. Make regular court appearances for Case Management Conferences, Mediation Conferences, Summary Judgment Motions and Trial. Prepare discovery and effectively use discovery to achieve case goals. Be an effective negotiator, both in and out of the Courtroom, who can connect and influence all stakeholders who have an impact on case outcomes. Handle client communication keeping client goals in the forefront, regularly updating clients on case developments, and including them in the process of determining and implementing case strategy. Stay in command and control of caseload. Must be New Jersey & New York licensed. Experience appearing before New Jersey and or New York judges is preferred. Prior lender-side foreclosure experience is desired. Trial experience is preferred.
