Litigation Paralegal, Financial District Duties: Support and Assist with Case Management. Monitor calendar and adhere to deadlines. Maintain updated client database. Appreciate time management, prioritize firm & client deadlines, and anticipate and address needs prior to deadlines. Maintain open communication in partnership with attorneys and addressing client inquires and concerns. Pleadings and motion papers. Demands and notices. Assist in trial preparation including trial notebook assembly. Independently ensure efficient capture of expected billable hours. Intermediate legal research for case-specific issues and citation table building as needed. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Licensed/Certificated Paralegal. Internship/Externships experience preferred. Should have 3 years of work experience in lieu of license or certification. Knowledge of the rules of civil or criminal procedure Independent management of heavy case load with protective deadline achievements. Introductory familiarity of trial court rules. Superior organizational, research and writing skills. Strong command on Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to assess case-specific needs, including independent and collaborative efforts as warranted.
