Litigation Legal Secretary Candidate must have: 3 - 5 years' heavy litigation experience should apply. Insurance defense litigation experience strongly preferred. Superior typing/transcription skills (75wpm); Excellent working knowledge of federal and circuit court e-filing, rules and procedures; Exceptional grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills; Strong verbal and written communication abilities; Meticulous organization; Remarkable people skills and ability to assist clients in person, via emails and via telephone; Ability to schedule and manage attorney deadlines; Diligence to open, close and maintain files using firm document management system and procedures; Aptitude to manage and submit attorney expense reports; Proven ability to prioritize and deal with multiple tasks; Ability to work autonomously while remaining a team player; Professional, positive, energetic, and detail-oriented approach to work and problem solving; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint; Knowledge of case management software; Ability to think on your feet and retain large volumes of information.
