Experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal The candidate will directly support attorneys in their representation of injured clients to obtain proper compensation for bodily injury against those persons/companies that injured them and insurance firms / law firms that represent the tortfeasors including every phase of litigation: filing lawsuits, discovery, depositions, motions, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, hearings, jury and bench trials and post-trial motions. Assist attorneys and other paralegals with research and writing associated with a high-volume caseload and other firm needs. Interact and support other paralegals who support litigation and pre-suit motor vehicle collisions; including ensuring the paralegals are successfully advancing the motor vehicle cases of the firm, while reviewing their work, updating senior management of their progress, and supporting senior management with reports on less experienced paralegal's progress. Supervise the work of junior litigation paralegal(s) in support of firm attorneys. Should have Paralegal Certificate. Associate or Bachelor Degree is preferred. 2-6 years of plaintiff s litigation and/or defense work is necessary. Attendance at jury trial experience is a plus. Must be computer savvy and be very familiar with Microsoft office Products. Must have skills commensurate with an excellent civil litigation paralegal.
