Litigation Legal Secretary The candidate creates, edits, formats and proofreads documents, spreadsheets and presentations. Prepares legal documents for court filing and electronic filing. Promptly responds to attorney requests via written, verbal or electronic communication. Effectively and efficiently manages work and information requests, including document management, scheduling and coordination of Firm resources. Helps attorneys and team members apply new technology to improve efficiency and quality of work product. Hands off work with detailed instructions to team members so that the work product is not compromised. Smoothly handles multiple demands and shifting priorities across all Firm offices. Maintains Extranet data and FTP sites for attorneys and clients. The candidate should have a High school diploma. Associate s or Bachelor s degree preferred. Litigation secretarial experience. Should have 5+ years of legal secretarial and customer service experience. Must preferably have 10+ years of legal secretarial and customer service experience. Speaks and writes English clearly and succinctly. Expert Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook, Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint essential.
