Paralegal-Workers Compensation Insurance Defense Duties: Provide assistance to attorneys in the preparation of workers compensation insurance defense cases. Organize documents and maintain electronic and paper client. Conduct in depth case reviews and write detailed case and medical. Preparation of discovery requests and responses including motions and. Maintain calendar and diary for each case to perform discovery follow up and trial preparation. Review of discovery responses for completeness, identify additional discovery to be done and forward responses to all involved. Preparation of medical and other documents for submission as exhibits. Draft other various motions, agreements. Requirements: Prefer paralegal degree or certificate, but will take experience into consideration. Must be detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated, able to work under pressure, multi-task, be dependable and Must have strong typing/computer/phones skills. Experience with Word/Excel required. Experience with Prolaw is beneficial.
