Plaintiff Personal Injury, Probate, and Estate Planning Paralegal/Legal Responsibilities: Managing a case load of plaintiff personal injury cases including intake, pre-suit demands, litigation and post-judgment proceedings; calendaring, scheduling, e-filing/uploads through ePortal and JAWS, managing documents, preparation of pleadings, motions, notices, discovery requests and notebooks for mediation, trials and hearings; managing probate cases from intake to discharge, including some contested proceedings; preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney; consistent and frequent client contact; able to quickly transition to other areas of law, as needed. Qualifications: College degree is preferred. 3+ years' experience in plaintiff personal injury, probate, and estate planning is required. Must be familiar with probate procedure and civil procedure. Should be organized, punctual, flexible and able to work a 40-hour work week; able to multi-task and work independently; self-motivated; excellent drafting and writing skills including demands and legal pleadings; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to function well in a team environment; able to take on other responsibilities in the office, as needed.
