Asbestos Litigation Paralegal Candidate must have: College degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent. 3+ years of paralegal experience. Highly skilled, proactive and well-rounded litigation paralegal. The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in the area of asbestos litigation. Must have experience in drafting court documents, reviewing and summarizing medical and other related records, summarizing depositions, as well as document management experience. Perform high-quality billable work and have expertise in assisting attorneys through all phases of asbestos litigation. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy and confidentiality. Successful candidate will possess strong technical and database skills. Must have knowledge and experience with discovery. Document management experience. Must possess knowledge of state and federal court rules, as well as working knowledge of asbestos court dockets. Strong knowledge and experience with discovery is a must, as well as knowledge accessing and reviewing court dockets. Should also possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized, have strong technical and database skills, and possess pre-trial experience.
