Legal Secretary / Administrative Assistant The candidate will assist senior level attorneys with daily document production; collate for, submit or e-file with NYS courts; keep track of and enter attorneys billing time, scan and store letters/documents, perform ad hoc assignments. Must have 5+ years of experience. Should have experience with litigation practice. Must know how to collate and e-file with NYS courts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Knowledge of pleadings, motions, letters and other legal documents (understanding and applying statutory types, formats, etc) is essential. Proficiency in Outlook and MS Word (knowledge of Word Perfect also preferred), including creation of table of contents and table of authority is needed. Familiarity with Tabs billing software is a plus.
