Entry Level Paralegal (mechanical Group) Duties : Will assist lawyers with the patent prosecution process - the drafting, filing, and negotiating a patent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the patent to be granted. Manage clients' patent applications - file applications and documents with Federal Agencies and Courts. Monitor the patent application process - correspond with the client and the USPTO, and organize all correspondence regarding the clients' patent applications. Requirements : The candidate should have a four-year technical degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or graphic design and with strong academic credentials are preferred. Previous work experience or paralegal certificate are a plus, but are not required as extensive training opportunities are provided by the firm.
