Billingual Paralegal The candidate will assist attorneys representing primarily Spanish-speaking clients in deportation proceedings and humanitarian applications for Immigration law firm. Duties include: Preparation and filing of complex forms and petitions, communication with clients and government agencies; drafting motions and letters; translating Spanish and English documents and interpreting for Spanish-speaking clients in meetings and government interviews. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in any field. Should have native or professional fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English; strong English writing skills. Desired qualifications: Customer service experience and.or office experience, experience working with immigrants, survivors of domestic violence or other trauma, or people with involvement in the criminal justice system. No prior legal experience is required. Recent graduates welcome.
