Social Security Disability Managing Attorney Duties: Review all intakes and make the final decision as to which cases are accepted. Represent clients through all stages of the federal disability process, with primary focus on representing clients at Social Security Disability Hearings. Prepare on the record requests, pre-hearing briefs, and appellate briefs when necessary. Handle all client complaint calls, review all customer service surveys, and field general question calls. Supervise Social Security Department team members. Ensure all appeal deadlines are met. Supervise CSS on file development from opening to closing a file to ensure all files are fully developed and ready for hearings. Qualifications: Must be currently licensed North Carolina attorney, or able to obtain NC licensure. 2-3 years experience, preferably in social security law. Must have passion for client service and building a world-class operation. Ability to build strong relationships, manage multiple priorities and lead others. Supervisory experience highly preferred. Experience using Needles or other CRM software preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
