Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney The candidate will take on substantive litigation responsibilities as part of a personal injury and property damage in-house defense team. Will work with experienced partners, other associates, claims, underwriting, and paralegal support staff, in the defense of taxi and livery drivers throughout the State of New York. Will be involved in reviewing and evaluating cases, analyzing medicals, preparing and trying cases, making court appearances, and taking and defending depositions. Should have JD from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice in the State of New York. 1 - 3 years litigation experience preferred - but will consider those awaiting NY Bar admission. Experience in general liability, torts, and/or transportation desired. Excellent legal writing and communication skills. Ability to track cases using an online system. Experience drafting motions.
