Nurse Paralegal (Part-Time) The candidate will be working collaboratively with attorneys and employees of the firm. Duties : Organization of medical records for preliminary review and analysis. Review the records for completeness and accuracy. Identify missing records and prepare a missing record list for the client. Work closely with the other staff to locate those records and incorporate into the record. Identify issues, omissions and discrepancies. Analyze medical records to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the medical evidence including pre-existing or co-existing medical conditions. Compose and type narrative summaries and chronologies of medical records, correspondence, and reports. Prepare case analysis as needed. Other job related duties as assigned. (Administration or Extensive Medical Record experience is a plus). RN/LPN License required. Current Nursing licensure required (any US state). Should have 2 years of experience in clinical nursing practice required (preferably in a Nursing Home setting). Must be proficient understanding and utilization of medical terminology, laboratory tests, and medications. Should have full understanding of HIPAA compliance. Understands and complies with all other related regulatory mandates.
