Immigration Paralegal The candidate should have an Associates degree, College degree is preferred. Preferably have demonstrated long-term experience with previous employers.Must be able to type at about 50 words per minute minimum. Strong writing skills are required because our paralegals assist our clients in writing relevant portions of the clients life story in order to help present a convincing case. Must be fluent in Spanish. Should have strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively. Must have demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Should have effective written and verbal communication skills, strong listening skills. Must have excellent team-based interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate well in a team. Exceptional customer service attitude and positive "can do" demeanor who functions well on a team with an ability to adapt to fluctuations in workflow and changes in responsibilities. Have demonstrated experience maintaining confidentiality and discretion given the nature of the work. Have strong ability to maintain high standards, use good judgment, act proactively and seek out ways to contribute and anticipate needs.
