Litigation Paralegal The candidate should have strong administrative skills handling the department calendar, scheduling calls, maintaining tasks and deadlines. Draft, review and file legal documents such as notices, motions, discovery responses and other pleadings for attorneys; Case Management; Review and summarize case files; Input billing for daily activity; Compile, analyze and organize information; and Other duties as assigned. Should have understand legal terminology and procedures; Knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure. Familiar with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (Preferred). Ability to handle and maintain time sensitive material; Critical thinking; Attention to detail and accuracy; Ability to handle heavy work load; Ability to work independently as well as a team player; Dependable and reliable; Ability to multi-task; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; Working knowledge of Practice Panther by AppFolio. Associate's Degree or comparable work experience; Florida Registered Paralegal preferred; and 5 years as a litigation paralegal (experience with property claims is a plus).
