Part-Time Litigation Paralegal The candidate should preferably have California Paralegal Certificate form an ABA-approved institution. Responsibilities will include case file management, case calendaring, document production, word processing, pleading preparation and filing, legal research, etc. Practicing personal injury, employment law, malpractice, elder abuse, business, etc. Experience with state court procedures, including Code of Civil Procedure, Rules of Court, and Local Rules of Court. Familiarity with federal civil procedure and rules of court are a plus. Strong verbal communication and writing required. Must also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Abacus, and web-based legal applications.
