Immigration Attorney The candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload consisting of removal matters, as well as family based immigration matters. Should preferably have 3+ years of experience in immigration law. Must have detailed knowledge of forms of relief such as Cancellation of Removal, Waivers of Inadmissibility, Asylum/Withholding and CAT before EOIR and be comfortable handling master and individual hearings in these cases. Should also have experience representing individuals before USCIS in Applications for Adjustment of Status and Naturalizations and preparing clients for interviews. Position will also require strong writing and analytical skills in the preparation of appeal briefs and motions to reconsider/reopen to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Administrative Appeals Office. Must feel comfortable representing clients in court. Fluency in Spanish/Portuguese a plus. Admission to any State Bar, must be in good standing.
