IP Assistant / IP Paralegal The candidate will assist with the drafting and filing of various legal documents related to patent prosecution including Information disclosure statements. Prepare and forward client reporting letters for various official correspondence. Maintain knowledge of client-specific client requirements and needs for filing and reporting of documents. Maintain file integrity and assist in monitoring compliance with due dates. Provide follow-up service regarding due dates to clients by telephone, e-mail or letters. Prioritize workload to meet filing deadlines and due dates. Interact with staff, attorneys and legal personnel on a daily basis. Maintain filing docket as necessary for work assignments. Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Manager. Complete assigned work in a careful, expeditious and professional manner. Maintain a high-quality work product, schedule work to meet deadlines, and perform job responsibilities under pressure while maintaining efficiency, high productivity levels, and professional demeanor. Bachelor s degree required. Prior IP experience not required, however 1-2 years in an IP environment or professional office environment is preferred. Solid proofreading and editing skills and understands the need for producing error-free works required. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook required.
