The firm also receives very high scores for the treatment of associates by partners and there does appear to be a very good relationship here between associates and partners with associates feeling they are part of the mix to a great degree and respected by partners. Attorney Staff Recruiting Administrator The candidate will coordinate and oversee the summer associate program as well as support the Director of Administration with various human resources and administrative needs across multiple office locations. Will focus on the following areas of recruitment: Legal Recruiting and Onboarding. Lateral Recruiting: administering associate and counsel search processes, drafting job posting language, advertising open positions, ensuring applicant pool is diverse, identifying appropriate interviews, providing written summary reports. Law Student Recruiting: recommending schools for office on-campus interviews, identifying interviewers, reviewing and processing interviewers recommendations for callback interviews, recommending candidates for committee review, providing written summary reports. Pre-arrival, Orientation, and Integration Processes: overseeing background, reference, and conflict checks, onboarding and training scheduling, and conducting 30-day check-in meetings for fall and lateral associates. Summer Program: identifying summer associate mentors, planning training and social events, recommending budget for summer program. Staff Recruiting and Onboarding. Drafting, posting and advertising open staff positions, managing viRecruit database and screening resumes, arranging interviews, conducting background and reference checks, preparing and coordinating on-boarding materials. Events, Committees, and Staff Programs. Coordinating employee activities including firm picnic, holiday party, staff appreciation, and office socials. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is required. Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is required. Working knowledge of general human resources laws and recruiting procedures is required. Familiarity with recruiting database (viRecruit), HRIS database (Workday), as well as Federal and California employment and labor laws is preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Requires 3+ years of relevant recruiting/human resources experience, or equivalent in a law firm or professional environment.
