Associate Immigration Attorney The candidate will report to the Managing Attorney, will also manage your caseload, as well as client interaction, and can collaborate with our Immigration Team of Attorneys and case managers. Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments; Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions; Prepare and submitting legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases; Correspond and/or meet with clients to gather documents and information and to guide them through various visa processes. Use case management system/database, various firm systems, and project management skills to monitor case milestones, follow up with clients, and meet both legal and client-relations deadlines. Exercise meticulous attention to detail to produce error-free forms, correspondence, and related legal work product. Prepare and represent clients at government interviews. Other tasks as required to meet client, Managing Attorney, and firm needs. Bilingual in Spanish is required. Should have completion of a Juris Doctorate program at an accredited U.S. Law School and admission to a U.S. state bar. Should have strong organizational and analytical skills also Excellent writing skills. Must have 1 year of Immigration Law Experience: Family or EOIR preferred. Law students, pending bar results, and U.S. bar-admitted lawyers only.
