Legal Secretary The candidate will undertake a variety of administrative and clerical tasks under the supervision of an attorney and will also provide support in assigned legal cases. The goal is to sustain efficiency of all office procedures and case management so as to guarantee reliability and consistency while working as a team in a positive, pleasant environment. Prior Legal Experience, Litigation a plus. Able to manage and maintain high volume of work flow are required. Excellent typing skills are required. Electronic dictation and word processing experience are required. Superb verbal and written communication skills are required. Professional telephone skills are required. Solid interpersonal skills are required. Provide administrative support to one or more lawyers are required. Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate are required. Maintain and update inventories of contact details are required. Provide timely reminders of deadline meetings are required. Attorney time entry are required. Proven experience as legal secretary are required. Knowledge of constitution, legal terminology, regulations and court system are required. Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, electronic dictation and transcription software) are required. Working knowledge of legal management software systems is a plus. Proficiency in English are required. Outstanding time-management and typing skills are required. Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people are required.
