Elder Law / Estate Planning Associate Attorney The candidate will have independent responsibility over client files and file management; heavy client interaction - in person and over the phone; draft estate planning documents, i.e. Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, etc.; identify need for Medical Assistance or Veterans' benefits applications; become familiar with Life Care Planning and develop a long-term care plan; and research, analyze and develop expertise on Trusts including Supplemental Needs Trusts and Special Needs Trusts. The candidate must have 2+ years of experience in the areas of Elder Law or Estate Planning to work with a focus on estate planning, probate and trust administration, medical assistance planning and Veterans' benefits, and long-term care planning. Should be licensed to practice in Minnesota and excellent academic credentials.
