Litigation Attorney The candidate must have 3 years of experience particularly in writing and research, with an editing background. Must be licensed in Texas. Should preferably have a Bar license. Top 25% of the class in law school is required. Experience with trials, depositions, mediations, drafting and defending complex multi-party motions for summary judgment, discovery requests and responses, and preparing and filing all trial-related pleadings in State and Federal Courts is mandatory. Should be experienced in deposing key witnesses in commercial and corporate cases. Must be familiar with preparing trial strategy memos for litigation cases to which they are assigned. Strong background in transactional work with experience with multiple government agencies and preparation of various documents is required. The ability to review, organize and summarize voluminous documents to marshal evidence for hearings and trials is needed. Exceptional research and writing ability are required. Must be comfortable creating dynamic presentations for trial. Should be fully prepared, relaxed, and focused when arguing motions in State and Federal Courts. A positive attitude and curiosity about the law are a must.
