Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation Attorney The candidate will be communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel, assisting with settlement negotiations, actively participating in discovery and motion drafting (no boilerplate discovery), taking and defending depositions, assisting with trial prep, and performing light research, representing clients in negotiations and mediation in product liability, premises liability, employment, and personal injury. Drafting opposition to MSJ. Responding and propounding discovery. Drafting summons and complaints. Drafting Motions (Compel, Quash, For Protective Order). Drafting Motion In Limine and other pre-trial motions. Must have a California State Bar admission with "active" status; Nevada Bar or Arizona Bar Admission is a plus. Must have 3+ years of experience in Civil Litigation and 2+ years of experience in Personal Injury Litigation. Should have 4-10 years of litigation/trial experience in the personal injury field. Trial skills and post-trial motion drafting skills are a plus. Must have the ability to handle more than 45 litigation cases (Trucking Accident, Product Liability, Employment, Premises Liability, Employment) and to work in a highly collaborative team environment with other lawyers and paralegals. Must have strong legal research skills with Westlaw Next and LexisAdvance; attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and task track keeping; strong organizational, interpersonal communication, time management, and project management skills in handling more than 55 cases; knowledge in federal court litigation and filing; and full proficiency in Word, Outlook, Adobe Pro, Excel, Power point, Professional. Knowledge of Employment law is a plus.
