Paralegal- Medical Malpractice, Healthcare The candidate will manage files for healthcare and medical malpractice litigation matters. Subpoena, intake, review, organize, and summarize voluminous medical records. Prepare pleadings, discovery demands, and responses to discovery requests. Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, mediation, and trials. Routine telephone calls with clients, experts, opposing counsel, court clerks, court reporters, etc. From time to time may be called upon to perform administrative support functions, such as scanning documents, e-mailing documents to clients and experts, maintaining client files, meeting with clients, etc. The candidate should have bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate preferred. Must have 3+ years of healthcare and/or medical malpractice experience. Experience with iManage, Compulaw, Forms Workflow, Westlaw, and/or other comparable programs is a must. Strong organizational, writing, administrative skills, and attention to detail. Professional appearance and professional oral and written communication with clients and co-workers.
