Legal Secretary The candidate will be supporting practice by preparing documents like affidavits and legal correspondents as well as organizing and maintaining files. Will be asked to type up dictations and file pleadings with court clerks as well as help prepare for trials by organizing exhibits and assisting with other mission-critical tasks. Maintain a kind and professional manner in sometimes difficult but rewarding client interactions. Basic Office Admin. Preparing affidavits, legal correspondence, and other legal documents. Organizing and maintaining documents in MyCase. Meeting with clients, other attorneys and professionals to talk case details. Prepare and file pleadings with the court clerk. Help prepare for trial. Preparing briefs, wills, contracts, custody documents and more. Investigate the facts and laws of cases and searching public records and other resources to prepare cases and help determine causes of action. Directing and coordinating law office activity. Gathering and analyzing statutes, decisions, and legal articles, comes and documents. Law Office Administration. Client Onboarding. Legal Research and Presentations. Drafting Legal Documents. Should preferably have 1+ year of experience.
