Legal Secretary Duties : Will copy, scanning, faxing, and engaging in our paper files. The candidate must be able to serve and file documents through various electronic portals in various counties. A typing speed of more than 50 WPM is required. Dictation skills would be helpful. Basic cost accounting, settlement distribution, and check writing is required. Knowledge of Judicial Council forms is required. Must also assist in screening 20-50 new client calls a day along with your coworker, and other incoming calls. Ability to create spreadsheets in Excel is required. Word and Word Perfect skills are also required. Adobe book marking and other skills are also important.
